"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been coming to Joe’s Bagels in New Providence for years, starting back when I would stop in early in the morning to pick up bagels for the diner where I worked. From day one, Joe always treated me like family. Over time, I got to know him, and it’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about his customers the way he does. Now that I’m no longer at the diner, I still find myself stopping by almost every day for my favorite turkey and Swiss on a poppy seed bagel. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with care. The bagels are some of the best around, and the service is consistently outstanding. What makes this place truly special isn’t just the food—it’s the people. Joe has built more than a bagel shop; he’s built a community. Every visit feels welcoming, and you can tell he takes pride in knowing his customers and making them feel appreciated. "Since discovering this place 3 years ago, Jersey Joe’s Bagels & Deli has quickly become my go-to bagel shop. I refuse to go anywhere else because the quality is simply unmatched. Jersey Joe’s Bagels & Deli is home to the best bagels and breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had in NJ. The owner, Joe, knows everybody’s faces and greets everyone by name, and he genuinely cares about the quality of his bagels / food. He knows my order by heart, and on occasions where other people order for me, he will stop them and be like “… is this for Hannah? Yeah, I know Hannah’s order…” and then proceed to list it off like it is his own personal order. You cannot ask for better customer service than what Joe provides in his local bagel shop. You walk in and instantly feel like family in such a friendly and welcoming establishment. Joe is a fantastic owner and his bagels are top-tier. Yes, there are often lines, but that’s just because everyone in the area knows Joe’s bagels are the best — totally worth waiting for the best breakfast sandwich you will ever have! 5 stars is not enough stars for Joe and his establishment"

"I'm a Jersey Girl, born and raised, but I've since moved away due to work. Well, I was back home this weekend for an event, and I had to get some bagels because no one does them better than Jersey! After doing some research of local bagel shops, I landed on Jersey Joe's, and I'm so glad that I did. From the time I entered the shop, I was greeted warmly, the atmosphere was lively and fun, and the food smelled delicious! The bagels were large and soft, and there were more coffee options than I knew what to do with. The service was quick and friendly, my egg and cheese SPK on a cinnamon raisin was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Joe, the owner, was also working alongside his employees. Taking orders, cashing folks out, and catching up with customers in between. He was kind, personable, and quite generous (thank you again for all of the extras!). In the 8 minutes that I was in the shop, I could tell that he's a great boss, an even better leader, and well-loved by everyone! Seeing that these days is pretty rare, so it was really special to witness first hand! What I really appreciate the most about my visit here is that you can tell Jersey Joe's is a staple in the community. It was so clear that everyone there was a regular and that they were excited to be there! I sent the location to all of my family who still live in Jersey, and saved it for myself for my next trip. In the meantime, these dozen+ bagels that I brought back with me will make me smile and miss my home state, even when I'm not physically there.
